IISERB is a premier institution for science, research and education which enrols students through a stringent selection process: It qualifies only the top students across the country as eligible for the final selection which happens through one of the following three channels: Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), IIT JEE Advanced Merit List or All India Level Selection Test conducted by IISER.

The prime focus of IISERB is to integrate science education with research. Hence, the students are provided significant learning and research experience from the very beginning. The students are exposed to plethora of research-oriented and multi disciplinary courses so that they can grow both as individual researchers and valuable assets for companies involved in research.

The students undergo five years of intense training supervised by competent faculties and active researchers of international repute. IISERB’s flagship program, a five-year integrated BS-MS degree program, exposes the students to the cutting edge of research in the world of science namely in the fields of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biological Science and Earth and Environmental Sciences. Since 2015 IISERB has diversified into Engineering and Economics to further encourage an interdisciplinary research environment. On that account, IISERB is the first IISER to offer a 4-year BS program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Economic Science coupled with active research in the mentioned departments.

Guidelines

• Companies interested in recruiting from IISER Bhopal are requested to fill the Job Notification Form Job Notification Form(JNF) and forward the same to office_ccd@iiserb.ac.in .
• After the final round of interview, as an initial understanding of successful process completion, CCD would require a copy of offer letters for the selected students.
• CCD acts as the sole contact/communication medium for all companies. Offer letters and any other requests forwarded through the body will help uphold the professional sanctity of the process and avoid any confusion.
• By communicating the joining date, a level of transparency is maintained and also the institute helps play a role in assisting the students regarding any administrative formalities specified by the companies.
